CTi's Develops New Applications for "Frac Water" and Waste Water Treatment

LOS ANGELES, Calif., July 15, 2013 - Cavitation Technologies, Inc. announced today that the Company will commence trial testing of it's Cavitation Electrocoagulation System with several "frac water" and wastewater treatment facilities within the U.S.
CTi's Electrocoagulation System provides an innovative and efficient solution for the treatment of wastewater. More importantly, because of the system's low electricity requirements and miniaturization of needed power supplies, the system can dramatically reduce operating costs compared to conventional wastewater treatment methods.
Roman Gordon, the company's CTO, added, "Our Cavitation waste water system has demonstrated it can dramatically minimize the presence of heavy metals, oil emulsions, fats, grease, bacteria, viruses, and cysts in an environmentally sound and cost-effective manner. Our Cavitation technology and Electrocoagulation process provide the opportunity to maximize the beneficial re-use of resource materials and minimize transportation and disposal costs, along with their associated liabilities."
Additionally, Gordon noted that the potential applications of CTi's system are infinite, as waste water treatment plays a vital role in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, textiles, manufacturing, marine industry, mining process water, municipal water management, and automotive uses. The Company plans to begin utilizing the system in fiscal 2014 and will identify strategic partners accordingly.
